1. What this is

This website and Hermes Agent, the AI work automation tool it describes ("the tool"), are operated by a single individual for that individual's own personal use. The tool has no other users, no sign-up and no accounts. This website is informational only: it does not intentionally collect personal information, and it uses no forms, cookies, analytics or tracking technologies.

2. Google account data the tool accesses

The tool accesses only the operator's own Google account, and only after the operator grants consent on Google's consent screen. The access granted covers:

• Email — reading messages, sending messages, and changing message state such as read/unread and labels.
• Calendar — reading, creating and updating calendar events.
• Files — reading and writing files in the operator's own storage account.

This access is used solely to carry out the operator's own requests — for example finding and summarising email, sending a reply, creating or updating a calendar event, or reading and writing a file.

3. Processing of data to carry out a request

Google user data is processed only to the extent needed to carry out the features and requests the user asks for. To carry out a request, the data needed for that request may be transmitted for processing to a third-party AI / LLM service provider that is configured in the tool. This can include parts of email, calendar or file content that are relevant to the request.

Which providers receive data depends on how the tool is configured at the time a request is made, and that configuration can change over time. For that reason no specific provider, model or API endpoint is named on this page.

4. How Google user data is used — and not used

• Google user data is processed only to the extent necessary to carry out the features and requests the user asks for.
• Where it is needed for a request, that data may be passed to the configured AI / LLM service providers so that they can process that request.
• Google user data is not used for advertising and not sold, and is not used for purposes unrelated to the user's requests.
• Google Workspace API data is not used, and is not transferred, for the development, improvement or training of general-purpose or non-personalised AI or ML models.

The tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Storage, retention and security

Where it is needed to carry out a request, Google data may be stored in the operator's own Google account and in the operator's private working environment, and it may be processed by the AI / LLM service providers described in section 3. Data is kept only as long as it is needed to carry out requests, and the operator can delete it at any time. Access is limited to the operator's own account and to the access described in section 2, and connections to Google are made over HTTPS.

6. Revoking access

The operator can revoke this application's access to the Google account at any time from the Google Account permissions page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access ends all further access to Google data.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the tool's behaviour changes. The version published on this page is the current one.
